What is Planning Poker?

Allow your team to provide estimates on tasks in Asana either asynchronously or during a planning session. Each task can be estimated independently. Our application will capture the results and once all votes are in (or the session administrator signals) our system will present the results back to the team. We capture all votes from all team members and determine the most common estimate along with a consensus percentage.

Once a planning session is complete, the task in Asana can continue to display the estimate result. In addition, the final result can be updated and stored in custom fields in Asana as well.

You will now have one consolidated place to create your tasks, retrieve your teams estimates for those tasks, and display the results of those estimates and planning sessions, all without leaving Asana.

How to connect Planning Poker + Asana?

In an Asana project, select Customize an install Planning Poker. Then, within a task in that project, select "Enter Estimates."
