What is OneTrust?

OneTrust is a platform for managing privacy, security, and data governance. OneTrust automates compliance with privacy regulations by connecting to underlying data sources to discover, classify, and map personal data and streamline privacy requirements.

Why OneTrust + Asana?

With the OneTrust + Asana integration, organizations can:

  • Create evergreen data maps: discover and classify personal data across your Asana instance, identifying which data is subject to privacy regulations and creating an identity graph of individuals who have personal data stored in Asana.
  • Fulfill privacy rights requests: when a request is received from an individual whose personal data resides in Asana, OneTrust will automatically perform a real-time look up of that personal data and aggregate it or otherwise action it based on the request type.

How to connect OneTrust + Asana

Here’s how to set up the integration:

  1. Log into your OneTrust application.
  2. Within the launch menu, navigate to the “Integrations” tab.
  3. Select “Asana.”
  4. Follow the integration wizard to:
  • Name your connection
  • Enter your API key or complete an alternative authentication method
  • Select scan frequency and any other available options
  1. Click “Activate.”
